Longacre Lea's casting policy is grounded in a notion of ensemble work and collaborative artistry stemming from, among other influences, the Grotowski work that at one time informed the MFA training at CUA. As such, I, as the sole decision-maker for casting, generally look not for people whose skills peak during auditions but for people whose work is physically expressive, unself-conscious, and reflective of a respect for others.
